We’ve been several times in the city, but this time we decided to visit for Ema’s birthday just for a 3 days long weekend.

Where to stay

Seville’s most famous neighborhoods are Casco Antiguo, Alfalfa and Encarnacion.
Here you can find an infinite number of beautiful places where to stay (on booking.com but better on AirBnb).

Generally hotels/apartments are really cheap and the quality is high.
We link here the airbnb link of the best apartment we had after many visits.
Here was our 3 floors apartment with rooftop!

Tapas

Food is one of the biggest attractions of Seville after its beauty.

The magic word here is “Tapear” or “Tapas”. Going for tapas means going to eat different small portions of any kind of Spanish dishes, the best way to try more dishes of the Spanish tradition without having to order just one big portion. All this can be combined with a “Caña” (a small glass of local beer) or with some tasty wine; it also the best way to socialize with Seville people: you’re gonna see, it’s not gonna take long before locals will start talking/asking/ laughing with you, they’re simply too open and kind!

or where to have an aperitivo or a tapa?

SOME SUGGESTIONS OF WHERE TO EAT?

For Breakfast if you want to try the local way of having brekkie the best way is to get in the street of the main neighborhoods and decide if you prefer something salty, sweet or maybe both.

Try the typical “pantumaca” “tostada con jamón” bread with fresh tomato and local ham, drink a fresh orange juice or go for “chocolate con churros”

Don’t forget that in Spain sunrise is really late in the morning so normally breakfast is between 9:30 and 10:30 am.

For aperitivo the best place is the terrace of the Terraza del Eme , maybe a bit more expensive (glass of wine 7/8 euro) than other places but the views on the cathedral is amazing!  If you still want to keep a low budget than just visit the Alfalfa small squares and you’ll have a spoiled of choice!
