With the desire of visiting one of most beautiful and iconic places of France and a really kind offer, in July 2020 we decided to spend three incredible nights at this little gem, called Le view Castillon hotel.

A few kilometers from Avignon, the Vieux Castillon opens the doors of an exceptional place of Provencal images, nature songs and bewitching perfumes. It’s the time for a break in the heart of a village emblematic of authentic and gentle Provence… Castillon-du-Gard.

This small medieval village overlooking the valley of Gardon is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful villages in Gard: its position in two hundred-year old olive groves, its paved, narrow and winding streets, the old ramparts, its mullioned windows, its expressive gargoyles… Plenty to remind us that time has passed and left a wonderfully unique memory.
